6th grade Human Body Development

The following forms have all the information about the unit that you need. Please note: You ONLY need to fill out this form and return it to your child’s PE teacher if you DO NOT want them to participate.

Please have your student check the Lost & Found in the front office for lost items such as coats, t-shirts, hoodies, eye glasses, flash drives, money, phones, keys, jewelry, and wallets/billfolds. Parents may come in during business hours (8AM-4:30PM) to check for lost items. RBMS donates unclaimed clothing... to charity every 4-6 weeks. Our office prefers that you come by to check, rather than call to inquire about an item due to the already high volumn of business calls that come in.

Due to projected enrollment size for the 2012-2013 school year, this campus has been closed to NEW transfers, except for siblings of students who currently attend and who will attend this campus next year. Please be aware that if your student is not zoned to this campus or does not already attend this campus on an approved transfer, this campus is closed and will not be accepting any NEW transfer requests for the following school year, 2012-2013.

The 8th grade Picnic is schedule for Friday, May 25th. Students have been made aware of eligibility requirements and have been given a permission slip. Permission Slips are due to your child's Science teacher no later than Friday, May 18th.

Monday May 28th is a bad weather make-up day--there will be no school.

Yearbooks are on sale on campus before school and during lunch times.
Remember, you're reserving a yearbook: the yearbook will not be delivered until the end of the school year.

EARLY DISMISSAL FOR LAST DAY OF SCHOOL, JUNE 1 IS 12:10 PM
Breakfast will be served that day, no lunch will be served.

You can easily access the RBMS Academic Team websites from the Campus Staff Page.

You can access the teacher voice mail system without going through the main Running Brushy Middle School switchboard. Just call 570-7098 and follow the prompts.

Within two (2) days of returning from an absence, a student should provide a note, signed by the parent, guardian, or doctor that describes the reason for the absence. Students returning from an absence without a written statement from their parent or doctor will be given an unexcused absence.

Checks written to any LISD organization, including student fundraisers and RBMS, must have a driver's license number and valid phone number on the check. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated!
