Yearbooks are on sale! The cost is $29 online at www.myyear.com or $30 if bought on campus. Add-ons are available for $5 each. These include dust jackets, Yearzines, name plates and icons.Nameplates and icons are only available online and only until December 1st. As of December 1st, the price will increase to $34 online and $35 on campus.

September 24th - Friday
FIRST RUNNING BRUSHY MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE OF THE YEAR!
The dance will be held from 6 pm - 9 pm
The cost of the dance is $3. Students MUST enter through the cafeteria doors.
No visitors from other schools!
Pick-up will take place at the cafeteria doors OR in front of building.
Please coordinate with your child so they know where to meet you.
Pick-up Times are as follows:
6th graders 8:30 pm
7th graders 8:45 pm
8th graders at 9:00 pm
Pizza, nachos, popcorn, pickles, soda and sweets will be available at additional cost.
Spirit wear and items such as paw print tattoos will also be available.

The DJ for this event has offered students a chance to request songs for the dance. He has created a website form that can be seen here: www.surveymonkey.com/s/runningbrushy

September 27th – (Monday) LISD Festival of Bands at Bible Stadium, 7 pm
September 30th – (Thursday) Choir Field Trip to Georgetown

Running Brushy Agendas and T-shirts are now available for purchase on-line! Just click on the PTA link above right on PTA/Volunteer. The price for Agendas is $5.
Agendas will be available during grade level lunch times this Friday, August 27th and at the 7th/8th Grade Open House event.
Student Transfers and Moratoria Information
Due to projected enrollment size for the 2010-2011 school year, Running Brushy Middle School has been closed to new transfers, except for siblings of students who currently attend Running Brushy Middle School and who will attend Running Brushy Middle School next year. Please be aware that if your student is not zoned to this campus or does not already attend this campus on an approved transfer, that campus is closed and will not be accepting additional transfer students for the following school year, 2010-2011.

  • You can easily access the RBMS Academic Team websites from the Campus Staff Page.

  • You can access the teacher voice mail system without going through the main Running Brushy Middle School switchboard. Just call 434-7098 and follow the prompts.

  • Within two (2) days of returning from an absence, a student should provide a note, signed by the parent, guardian, or doctor that describes the reason for the absence. Students returning from an absence without a written statement from their parent or doctor will be given an unexcused absence.

  • Checks written to any LISD organization, including student fundraisers and RBMS, must have a driver's license number and valid phone number on the check. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated!
